The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and other acts will be performing during the “Kid’s Inaugural: We Are the Future”
The concert will air at 8pm (EST & PST)/7pm (CST), you can ask question to ask the performers to answer between the show that relate to the Inaugural and the future of our country, by clicking here (it’s the star on the right).

“Jonas Brothers Are ‘Burnin’ Up’ For Barack Obama’s Daughters”
I was sitting around waiting for the always swoon-worthy Jonas Brothers to hit the stage for the “Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future” concert, when my co-worker Alex Shapiro made a shocking revelation: He was very, very excited to see the guys perform “Ladybug.”
Hey, Alex … I think you meant you were excited to hear “Lovebug,” but then again, who wasn’t?
We know there were two girls in particular in the crowd who were beyond “Burnin’ Up” for Joe, Nick and Kevin to take the stage: Sasha and Malia Obama. They were dancing in the aisles as the guys ran through a string of hits: “S.O.S.,” “Lovebug,” “Burnin’ Up” and their new single “Tonight.
But the best part of the night was probably when the undisputed lady killer of the group, Joe (who is he dating these days?), brought little Sasha and Malia onstage with him.
Sure, he brought a bunch of other fans up with him as well, but are their dads about to be president of the USA? I think not.
Say what you will, but these guys know how to close an inauguration ceremony.
Performing “Burnin’ Up” with the future first daughters onstage with them has to be a top inaugural moment.
“Be the Change: Live From the Inaugural” will air live on MTV on Tuesday, January 20, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. MTV News will have wall-to-wall coverage of the event and of the scenes in Washington, D.C., New Orleans and Kenya in the days leading up to the event and in the days that follow.
“Jonas Brothers join forces with Do Something (again!)”
This Tuesday, President-elect Obama will drop the hyphenate and wife Michelle will become First Lady. But Michelle’s already Doing Something to make a difference:
Today’s birthday girl (she was born in Chicago on Jan. 17, 1965) is asking all of America to celebrate the inauguration of our 44th President — and Martin Luther King Jr. Day — by joining her in a Day of Service on Monday.
No strangers to good-deed doing, Jonas Brothers are heeding Michelle’s call — and they want YOU to get involved as well.
And Nick, Kevin, and Joe (in a new partnership with Do Something) are making it super easy: Simply text “Jonas” to 30644 and put in your zip to receive a volunteer opportunity in your area…
